PayPal payments are currently available in 10 international currencies, including US Dollars, Euros, British Pounds, Australian Dollars, Israeli Shekels, Russian Rubles, and Japanese Yen. Available payment methods include direct payment from your PayPal balance and major credit cards.

Payments in South African Rands are currently only available via PayFast, a major South African payment processor which supports multiple payment methods, including credit cards, cheque cards, debit cards, instant EFT’s, local store payments, and Bitcoins.
